The innovative technology used in Hansa UnIQ enables the induction hob and cooker hood to communicate and operate together. When you turn on the hob, the hood activates automatically, and then the hood fan speed matches the hob heat settings, thus optimising steam absorption. The hob also allows the hood lights to be controlled remotely.
These enable you to quickly adjust the heat settings and optimise the cooking process. A temperature of 42°C is ideal for melting butter and chocolate, 70°C for re-heating soup and sauces, while 94°C for preparing pasta or rice. Choose what you need quickly, and enjoy your cooking!
A family get-together. You bend over backwards to serve your meals on time. Now would be a good time to have a bigger heating zone where you could place a large, oval fish cooking pot for cooking... Is there a problem with that? Absolutely not! Hansa hobs feature the Bridge function with which you can connect heating zones. Just turn it on, and you don’t have to do anything else! Forget about unevenly warmed pots, whatever their size or shape, and enjoy your family gathering to the full.
This function allows you to set the cooking time (max 99 minutes) for each individual zone on your hob, which makes it easier than ever to prepare several dishes at once. When the time expires, the zone switches off and alerts you with an audible signal.
Need to leave the kitchen for some time? The useful Stop&Go function turns off all active zones, and remembers their settings at the same time. On your return, just press the sensor again and turn the hob on. The induction zones will be the same as before.
It’s easy to accidentally turn on an appliance, especially if children join you in your kitchen work. The ChildLock featured in the Hansa gas hobs reduces this risk. Press the lock sensor, and block the possibility of lighting the burners. Feel safe and comfortable.
Perfect for dishes which first need to be brought to the boil quickly and then heated or simmered. This function automatically lowers the temperature of the heating zone after a specified time.
